The glasswing butterfly dances in narrow shafts of sunlight.

The wings of this huge butterfly look like thin panes of stained glass. They are nearly transparent and tinted with blue and rose.  This stunning insect seems quite fond of fluttering in the bits of light breaking through the canopy.  But what it would really enjoy is some sweet nectar.
