A large lizard sits on a rock, attempting to warm itself.

The Gila Monster is a large lizard, sometimes growing up to three feet in length.  Its skin is mottled black and yellow and very tough.  They favor dry, warm climates, and they can be found throughout most of Uthendia.  Usually they are very shy, and only perchance do travellers come by them.  They are considered very dangerous, however, as their bite is highly poisonous.
