A nightrunner flits about, looking for food.

A nightrunner is a large weasel-like creature, roughly 5 feet in height and sporting pitch black fur.  They are strictly nocturnal, preferring to use the darkness to hide their quick, rapid movements.  They are omnivorous and will eat anything they can wrap their jaws around.
