Navekal the sorcerer scribbles furiously at his desk.

Wearing a wizard's hat and a mithril bracelet with runes carved into it, he concentrates intensely on scribing a spell on a piece of parchment.  Locks of graying hair stray from under his hat, emphasizing the creases and wrinkles in his aging face.  Mumbling softly to himself and repeating a strange phrase, he does not notice anyone enter the room.
