a skinny mongrel

A really hungry looking mongrel sniffs around for food.

This skinny, half starved animal walks about with its tail between its legs as it searches the streets for scraps of food.  It moves shyly away from people who approach it, probably due to usually being chased away by large broom-wielding shop owners.
