the brillia

A brillia struggles to free itself.

Rare creatures of light, the brillia exist mostly in bard tales and the wishful dreams of children.  Upon beams and waves they travel, harming none, but mages and others who ply the arcane paths know of them and often will attempt to hold and tap their uncanny power.  This one seems held in some fashion, its bindings unclear and insubstantial, and yet they apparently manage quite well.
