A large spider crouches at the center of its web, awaiting unwary prey.
Crouching in the midst of its web, deathly silent and motionless, legs pulled in close at its sides, it waits for some unsuspecting creature to venture too close. Its body is nearly two hands wide, and its forelegs are quite short, each ending in a wicked, gripping claw.
