A massive monster stomps around the cave looking for some unpicked bones.

This huge monster is a cross between the pile of dung in the corner, and a wooly mammoth.  Possibly breeding in such a pit as this has caused such a nasty mutation to occur from playing in one's feces too much.  But you will never know, since you're obviously dinner, or if not dinner, its rag-doll plaything.  Just before being rend limb from limb with its massive razor claws, it fwumps to its haunches, and says in a mannerly accent, "Hello, good ol chap.  Care to play riddles?  "
