A winged vole hovers here.

A small red furred mole like rodent sniffs the air with an elongated snout. Its small black beady eyes take in the environment.  Startled, it leaps into the air on a set of bat like wings?  It appears as if another faerie crossbreed has defied nature to fill a new niche in the world of aerial insectivores.
