A young sapling leafs through a book.

The short treant appears to be just under forty years old.  In the midst of its behavioral development, the treant works on a homework assignment, reading a book.  Apparently tired of standing upright, the young treant leans it's gnarly arm on the white limestone rock that forms the base of a cliff.  A pair of bark eyelids raise curiously at the entrance of a stranger, but the curiosity is short lived as it returns to reading its book.
