The helico-hydra is covered in fine, dense scales of copper. The beast gets its name from the helix or spiral patterns made as the hydra's necks weave swiftly around each other. The effect is disorienting, making it very difficult for an opponent to predict the angle of the next strike and properly defend his flanks.
