The beating of mighty wings stirs the air of the cavern as a bat with a monstrous wingspan wheels.

The bats of the UnderDark have evolved to become quite effective hunters. These impovements include a six foot wing span, nasty hooked talons and a bite sure to cause a nasty infection.  Besides being hard to spot and very quiet, these winged rodents can sense heat and movement meaning that there is no place to hide.
