Gorath, the Hill Giant chieftain, towers over you.

Gorath is huge, even for a giant.  That is probably how he became the chieftain.  Hill Giants are not known for their intellect, so he probably bullied his way to the top.  Nonetheless, he appears to be more than a worthy opponent.
