A tan and white dog lies stretched out on the sand watching her master in the river.

Her long snout lies stretched out on her crossed paws as she stares intently out at the water.  She seems to be keeping a close eye on the bobbing head of a swimming elf out in the slowly moving river.  The long brown and white coat is clean and fluffy as it must have been brushed well earlier on. Ever so often, she looks to the piece of driftwood that lies beside her, as if willing it to jump up and run so she can chase it.
