a wolverine

A wolverine digs between the rocks, spewing dirt into the air.

This snarling ball of teeth and claws is clearly not going to give way to any other forest creature.  Similar to a badger in appearance, the wolverine possesses all the even temperament of a bear in a hornet's nest.
