a gas bubble

A bubble of green gas floats quietly along the passage.

Changing shape with the passing winds, this green cognition of wind and gas floats gently about the room.  Thought it has no real form, it is opaque, allowing no light to pass through it.  The smell of methane permeates the area surrounding it, creating a noxious odor in the air.
