A hair-like tendril covered with mucus waves in the moist breeze.

The long, black thread extends from the cave wall forward, entangling dust and debris traveling on the backs of the wind.  Slime coats it, making it stick, trapping the debris and holding it hostage.  It whips about franctically, keeping time with the gusts of air.
