an ore cleaner

A dwarf is relentlessly scrubbing piles of rock to separate the ore out of it.

Before any ore is sent out of the mines to be further refined it goes through the hands of a cleaner so that the dirt and rock that is hardened around the chunks of ore can be removed and the metals properly separated. The cleaners work in intense heat every day and their skin is thicker and redder than most other dwarves.
