After the tragic loss of here family during a jungle expedition where they ran out of supplies, Betty Betters came to Ixchal and set up a supply store to keep aany other expeditions from meeting the same fate.  Betty is small, even for a halfling, and though she is still young, Betty has gray hair and worry lines from her tragic experience.
