a small, green snake

A small, green snake is slithering among the plants.

The snake is six inches long with bright iridescent scales the color of emeralds.  The snake has yellow eyes and black diamond shaped markings along the length of the body.  The fangs of the snake are small but sharp.  The little creature doesn't seem to be in the mood to harm anyone and actually tries to go out of its way to hide.
