An elven child is crying her eyes out.

At about six or seven years of age, this elven child should be romping through the village and playing with her toys.  Instead she is trying to hide from the suddenly sadistic guards and wondering where her daddy went to.  The elven child is wearing a small cotton dress with the symbol of her family sewn on the sleeves.
