A shade hovers in the air.

Far less than a ghost or spirit, this apparition is only a shimmering haze in a humanoid shape.  The shade is the remains of the soul of something that was murdered on the walkway not long ago.  Though the shade seems rather menacing, it really only wants venegance on it's murderer.
