A deceased sailor with empty eye sockets has no trouble locating you.

It is hard to tell if this guy lost his eyes before or after his death, but all there is left is black holes, rimmed with red, irritated and blistering flesh.  A blister pops as the sailor grins at the prospect of warm, living blood, sending a trickle of black liquid down the bearded cheek of the zombie. His clothes are torn and the stench is incredible, but they are recognizable as the ordinary garments of a sailor.
