the angry octopus

A large octopus rises from the water with shimmering lights running slowly along its arms.

The octopus is of the large eight-armed kind, with an oval blubber for a head and the arms protruding from the lower rim of the head.  It seems to size you up with its black little eyes, while mysterious lights shimmer back and forth along the tentacles, like magical energy waiting to be unleashed upon any threat in the vicinity.  The size of this mollusk is considerable, the head being at least twice the size of yours and the arms well over 5 feet in length.
