the madman

A madman grumbles at your presence while rocking back and forth.

With clothes barely holding together and dirt covering every bit of exposed skin, this wretch makes a poor first impression.  He squats in the small cave, hugging his knees tightly while rocking gently back and forth.  His eyes are large and distant, not really 'here' - but still aware of the visitor. His constitution is poor and his lose skin testifies to a significant loss of weight, resulting in a famined look.  Hair and beard is growing wildly and would probably get the better of any comb.  Besides his torn shirt and trousers, he wears a blue cap with the initials C.G.L.
