A saltwater crocodile lies in the pouring rain, mouth gaping wide.

The crocodile is between 6 and 7 yards including the tail, and thus quite large as crocs go.  It lies completely still with its mouth wide open, as if to frighten with its impressive set of teeth, easily capable of ripping a man apart with a throw or two of the head.  It might have eaten recently, or maybe there's nothing around to its taste - in any case it just lies there, mouth agape in a deceitful yawn.
