A honeypot ant wiggles here, its back end too heavy to move.

Honeypot ants are one of the great curiosities of the Jungle Walk.  The front half of its body looks like quite an ordinary black ant, though this one is large enough to engage a minotaur in melee.  At the back, its abdomen has ballooned to ten times the size of the rest of the body!  Like an amber ball of glass, the butt almost glows, as the dim jungle light filters through the honey within.  Lacking jars or bottles, this is the strategy the ants developed to store food.  If you punctured its butt, you could eat for a week!
