Long and white with a soft legless body, the maggot is the larva of a common housefly.  Hungry for the rotting flesh of dead creatures, the maggot hungrily feasts on any meat it can find.  Absolutely disgusting, with no redeeming features, the maggot is a source of plague and disease.
