A humungous slithering nightmare is uncoiling in the pit.

A least fifty feet long and covered in sharp, dry scales, this snake is having a bad day and want to take it out on anyone who enters its pit.  Its red eyes flash fire as it slowly coils and uncoils while slithering around in its home.
