A dripping stalactite looms down from the darkness, overhead.

Looking for all the world like a great, limestone stalactite, the deadly piercer hangs downward - clinging to the far-off ceiling by some unseen method.  Moving at a nearly imperceptible rate, it creeps up upon its intended victim, easily crushing its skull with a single downward stroke.
