A grub-like creature is crawling about.

This is a skrekk larvae.  It is almost a foot long, with small teeth encircling its mouth and only the beginnings of clawed limbs jutting out of its side.  The glint of light in its dark eyes gives the impression that it is more intelligent than it seems.  It darts its head at every movement.
