A mage's black familiar sits crouched for attack!

Deadly claws and teeth show from an evil grin.  Nine times this creature has cheated death, held it poise and kept its breath.  Now it waits here in the tryst, to feel the pain that it has missed.  A sleek black tail whips back and forth, ears pricked and the hair on its back standing straight up!  It eye's glow with a demonic light!
