a doppelganger

A doppelganger has been secured to the floor here by chains.

Bound at the wrists and ankles by thick chains to the floor, a doppelganger stairs blankly at you, caught in the midst of metamorphasizing.  Its body from the waist down is covered with thick fur; its feet bear like with wide stubby toes.  From the waist up the creature reveals a rare glimpse at its true form. A thick hairless gray hide covers its body.  Lanky, humanoid arms attach to humanoid shoulders, however, its spine is a prehistoric ridged structure pushing the gray skin outwards in a series of bumps decreasing in size towards the feet.  Its baldhead and broad forehead, human lips and nose are normal, however, its pointed ears leave the head at a 45-degree angle and its eyes are white and pupil-less.  As you stare at the creature, it slowly begins to change into a form looking strikingly like yourself.
