a greasy-looking bat

A greasy-looking bat is flying around.

On wobbly wings, this little bat is flying into walls, cave ceiling and anything that gets into the way of the poor blind thing.  I guess no one told it that bats don't need their eyes to see.  The bat is coated with a greasy kind of slime that matches the foul breath it breathes out pound for pound on the awful smelling scale.
