A scholar works on the ultimate book on cave slug sex.
He needs a life, this guy, but instead he is spending it studying the mating rituals of the UnderDark cave slug, which for the unitiated seem more like giant flaps of flatulence banging into each other until one finally shudders in sweet release and moves elsewhere to do it all again. The scholar hopes to write the ultimate treatise on the topic. No doubt he will, though whether anyone else ever reads the thing is a whole other issue.
