A richly clad baron is playing a game of chess.

An ancient man in a rich red robe is calmly playing chess with a set that hangs in midair and moves by itself.  It is said that none but the Baron Kempelen himself can beat the magical chess set.  Although he prefers to be called baron, and was actually one in a far off land, he is the God of Magicians, the Lord of the sleight of hand and his domain is the Intelligence of knowing how all the tricks are actually done.
