a greylag goose

A greylag goose quickly waddles out of your way.

The goose is grey with black-striped wings and an orange bill.  It is ever scurrying and flapping to get out from underfoot yet always seems back in peril a moment later.  The geese are mainly kept around and skinned to make the delicacy, pate de fois gras.
