The fiendish darkmantle is a levitating, squid-like horror, with earthy-brown webbing between its thin writhing tentacles. A dozen small red eyes ring the conical head. An aura of darkness seems to surround it, making it difficult to spot at first. It flares open like an umbrella, preparing to center its sharp beak overhead and envelope you.
