A small, fiendish darkmantle floats overhead, looking for someone vulnerable.
This fiendish darkmantle is but a youngling. The levitating, squid-like beast has earthy-brown webbing between its thin writhing tentacles. A dozen small red eyes ring the conical head. An aura of darkness seems to surround it, making it difficult to spot at first. It flares open like a little umbrella, as it searches for someone weak and inexperienced to envelope.
