The lightning mole is a bullet-shaped rodent that drills into the ground so quickly that dirt comes flying out behind it like sparks.  It lives only in soft loam where it can hunt for beetles the way cheetahs hunt for antelopes. Fortunately for its predators, like arrow-hawks, it is so hyper that it doesn't stay under for long before shooting back to the surface again.
