A gray-brown scaly reptile is wandering through the forest.

This scaly reptile has gray-brown skin with white dorsal crests.  Known as a tuatara, this creature is a carnivore that will even eat others of its kind. The tuatara is unusual in that it has a third eye on its forehead.
