A blind beggar sits at the side of the road here. He is waiting for a kind person to help him.

He sits here in the dust and dirt, only hearing the noises in the street, the jeering at his disability, the drunks making stupid comments and the people denying him help.  He is blind and when you look into his eyes all you can see is a deepness of sorrow and neglect.  His hands shake as he holds them to the sky, praying that a few gold coins will be placed in his palm.  He cries out to the Gods but they do not listen.  His life is in the hands of those around him.
