The stable boy looks after all the horses.

The stable boy can't be more than fifteen years of age.  His employer seems to work him too hard with little pay.  He is a scraggy boy, probably from the poor quarter, trying to make some honest money.  Although the boy is young, premature wrinkles are obvious on his face.  Bags hang under his eyes -- he doesn't look like he's had a decent night's sleep in weeks.
