a fierce looking scout

A lone scout scans the desert sands, searching for signs of his companions.

The man's coarse clothing covers most of his skin, his eyes peering from beneath his turban as they scan the horizon looking for the band of travelers he was supposed to be guiding.  He looks perplexed, and when asked mentions a nightmarish experience where a whirlwind devoured his entire encampment while he had been out scouting for water.  He makes excuses and explains he is in a hurry to continue his search.
