the drider queen

A hugely bloated drider sits here, spinning the webs that coat this tunnel.

She rests here, this unholy combination of drow and spider, a creature of the tunnels cast off from both worlds.  Busily spawning new driders, she waits for meals to either stumble into her lair or for her young to bring food to her.  She is not picky.  She has the body of a spider, the head of a drow, except many of her legs seem useless.
