The royal dwarven guards are the special bodyguard corps of Galvan Ironstar.  Like the regular guards, most of the Royal guards belong to Clan Anvilrock.  In times of relative peace, like now, the royal guards help to keep peace in the city.  In times of war, they are the forefront of the King's fighting forces.
