A filthy looking brat watches you before dashing off to go play with its friends.

It is hard to tell if the child is a boy or a girl since their hair is matted with filth and hasn't been combed properly in a long time.  Their patched clothes fit them loosely, hanging as if from a skeleton.  Their eyes are empty, showing no real interest in anything more than surviving and playing with their other grungy comrades.
