a dwarf guard

A dark dwarf gathers up branches from the path as he eyes the large tree lying on the path.

The short dwarf has tucked in his long braids from his head and beard into his belt as he works hard at clearing the paths and roads.  It is slow going as there is much debris around that has been blown about and torn apart by the ice storm the evening past.  He has a large axe tucked into his belt as well, to chop up the large trees that have been torn up and have fallen onto the road.
