a pale wolf

A wolf the color of moonlight slinks across the snow and ice.

The wolf dashes through the snow, now separated from its once strong pack, the animal must fend for itself in a harsh environment not suited for survival. Its glistening white teeth sparkle with need, need to kill its prey, need to hunt its dinner, need to live.  The wolf raises its head for a moment and looks around, taking in the snowy terrain around it, silently wondering where its next meal might be located.  Its nose twitches slightly, and it prepares to dash off once more, toward the scent of a meal, a meal ready to die.
