A half-elf has been chained, and is waiting his trial.

This bedraggled looking half-elf looks back at you with contempt.  He is well aware that his fate is already sealed despite the fact he is waiting his "fair" trial.  His hair is unkempt, and his shirt is torn, but he tries to look as dignified as he possibly can.
